Community Impact

No one church is meant to do everything within its community. Here at Reach Church, our first instinct is collaboration when serving our community. Not only are we called to share the Gospel of Christ verbally but through Community Impact, members can be the hands and feet of Jesus.

The Three Areas of Focus for Community Impact at Reach Church are Mental Health, Education and Youth Development.

Education

We have partnered with Soaring Scholars Tutoring Program at Holmes Elementary School in Ypsilanti to provide tutoring services. Click here to volunteer.

The Reach Higher Community Scholarship provides two High School Seniors with a $500 scholarship towards higher education. This scholarship focuses on students who have given time to serve their community in addition to their scholastic efforts. The Clarence Brogdon Scholarship is given each year to graduating high school seniors of Reach Church. This scholarship is named one of the founding members of Reach Church.

Mental Health

We are working to tear down the stigma between the Church and the Mental Health Community. The PEACE INITIATIVE is an effort to educate our churches about available resources for mental health services.

March 17th @7pm

Join us for a Facebook Live! We will begin a series of getting answers to your questions from the medical experts on vaccinations.

This or future sessions on this topic are not meant to be an endorsement of the vaccine, but an opportunity to raise awareness and get answers.
